Lisa Roberts
Our original Dreamgirl, Lisa, has been busy with her new job and helping her partner, Paul Greenwood, launch his business. We thank Lisa so much for her commitment in helping us get off the starting blocks, and she always keeps us close at heart. It was fantastic this year to be able to reunite onstage with Lisa. She was also supported in her involvement by dad, Eiddon, and sister, Nicola, to whom we also give great thanks.
Hannah Cygan-Wrobleski
Fellow original Dreamgirl, Hannah, leads a busy life with her son, Alekzander, and husband, Stephen, whilst also managing her successful camping and equestrian retail business – www.outdoorsrus.co.uk. Music and fundraising always had to fit around her busy regime, and for four years she has supported us and it was a real treat to be able to unite with her and Lisa at our 5th anniversary concert. Hannah has been an outstanding shoulder of support throughout the lifetime of the Charity Dreamgirls.
Paula Bradley
This lady has invested so much of her time and expertise in our first concert – and as a busy business owner, we appreciated every moment. Paula is still involved with our organisation and we love the face that at our bigger events, Paula can be relied upon for her event management expertise. www.conference-and-events.com
Rose Whitfield
Is our Wonderwoman! As our secretary she is responsible for all of our administration and keeps us firmly on the straight and narrow. Her effort is constant, she is a total professional and we just can’t imagine a life without her. Truly a Dreamgirl!
Terry George
We would like to thank Terry, his partner Michael and their team members Nicola and Mark for their support from year 1. Please visit their fantastic memorial website www.gonetoosoon.org
Rick Goodwin
The expertise and skills of Rick Goodwin allow us to put on a fantastic show, as Rick oversees, directs and produces all of our information videos. He does this completely in his own time and without him, we would not be able to create such wonderful videos – which are a credit to all of those involved with our organisation, with special thanks to Real Life Media www.reallife.co.uk
Jon Moorhouse
Jon, of Firsttake photography, helps with all of our press and celebrity photoshoots since 2008, Jon has helped us to create beautiful photography since 2008. www.firsttake.co.uk
Abi Pike
Abi started hairdressing over four years ago, with the fashion industry always a passion of hers. She wanted to compliment her career with helping the community and giving something back, so co-organised an event for the Dreamgirls in 2008. Abi enjoyed the process so much that she wanted to join the Dreamgirls as a frequent volunteer and committee member! www.abipike.co.uk
Sarah Palmer
Sarah joined the team whilst studying Events Management at University. In 2009 she was fortunate enough to work closely with the Dreamstars – helping to choreograph their songs! With a passion for working with children and teens, Sarah enjoyed every minute!
Emma Parkin
Emma jumped at the chance to be part of the team after the first concert in 2007. She completed a theatre degree and while it hasn’t been her chosen career path, Emma has enjoyed putting the skills she has learnt to good use.
Danielle Moulson
Has over 8 years experience working in high class hairdressing salons whilst working with the Charity Dreamgirls at their large events. Danielle also has experience teaching hairdressing in private academies and colleges. “I loved working as part of the Charity Dreamgirls team and have been responsible for organising and creating some of their regional events.”
Martyn O’Reilly
Martyn has been involved in some form of community/charity work for over forty years, and started to wind down thinking that he had done his bit. That was until Kate with her unbridled passion to set up The Dreamgirls to help others less fortunate came along and asked for Martyn for help… how could he refuse someone so committed to a cause?
Janet Collins
Janet saw the first Dreamgirls show and knew she wanted to get involved; ‘I have never come across a more committed group of people before, and the idea of helping three different lesser known charities each year is a brilliant concept.”
Jackie O’Reilly
Jackie was born into always thinking of helping those less fortunate. Although she sometimes wonders when stuck in a boggy field trying to cook a meal for over forty starving mouths of children on their first ever holiday! “That is until I see their faces of pure happiness and I know it is so worthwhile.”
Anne & David Kemp
Anne & David have been married for 43 years and are reaching retirement, so wanted to do something worthwhile. Last year, they saw the Charity Dreamgirls and were so impressed with the show and obvious hard work of all the people involved, they decided they wanted to become volunteers.
Dave Ferguson
Dave owns a shop called www.davefergusoncycles.com in Skipton, and has a passion for cycling. He has been an international cyclist for Great Britain – at the tour of Trinidad – wearing the Yellow and Green jersey along the way. Dave wanted to help the Charity Dreamgirls after seeing their concert and is hoping to use his skills to raise awareness and funds.
